My Niece’s Husband . . . The Brave Few

He’s a pilot in the Guard. Soon he’ll take a mission to a war zone to pickup a cargo . . . His mission has reached deep into his soul. I saw the pain on his face and in his words. I told him, his mission could be worse.

Where he’s going I won’t say. His cargo is wounded American boys and girls . . . Our sons and daughters, our fallen soldiers. My tears are now streaming down my cheeks . . . I’ve seen all this before, I hate war.

Sure there was a little fear in his eyes, but it was grief I saw . . . A friend of his was sent to Iraq. He was only supposed to be there six months. Then it was twelve. He’s been there fifteen months. Our soldiers are beginning to think we’ve forgotten them . . .

I Have Not Forgotten. I will never forget them. Have you?

Yesterday I made a pledge, not to vote for any Presidential Candidate that didn’t Promise To Bring The Iraq War To The End . . . AND BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!!! Please sign the pledge at Give Peace a Vote . . . How about you?
